Milex really came through and helped me in a BIG way. My Fiat 500 Sport had been at a dealership in Brandon for two months -- waiting for a transmission to be delivered. I reached out to Milex and asked if they could find a used transmission, Charles confirmed one was available and they could have it in a few days. I then had my car towed from the dealership. Charles and team wanted to diagnose the car before replacing the transmission, per the dealerships recommendation. Turns out, a transmission wasn't required at all. They replaced my clutch fluid and shifter cables and the car was drivable within two days. They not only helped get my car up and running but they saved me over $4,000.00. I cannot thank them enough!! :)

2011 Subaru Outback 115,000 miles was made new again ! We decided to have our " Subie " refreshed rather than buy a new one at this time. The car has always been dependable but we wanted to make it so for another 100,000 miles. We had a new timing belt, water pump, tune-up brake job , new shocks and struts, all fluids changed out , and new belts installed. ( you know, all those maintenance items in the owners' manual that nobody ever does ). The owners of this Milex shop were upfront with what they felt needed to be done and what the cost would be before any work was begun, unlike some other shops that do the work, hand you an enormous bill , and then try to explain why certain work was done . I feel that the owners and technicians truly were doing what needed to be done and not doing work to pad their bill. I will definitely return to this shop for future work on this vehicle and other ones that I own. It's obvious from all the other positive reviews that my experience is how this shop conducts business. Thanks again to the Bradenton Milex team for such a positive experience.

We went to get into our RV Ford band and the check engine light and limp mode lights were in. We went to a Ford dealer who used a scanner and told us we had transmission codes. They recommended a transmission shop as they could not help us in a timely manner. We looked up online for the closest transmission shop and we were happy it was a Mr Transmission shop. This shop told us to come back the next day at noon. They looked at it and found codes that meant we needed a new transmission. They gave us a print out and we made a call to our dealership in Canada. The transmission technician concurred with the report. They found a transmission after a lot of searching They replaced the transmission the next day. We are very pleased with the service and we have an appointment to get everything checked before we leave for home . Very happy with the honesty, price and service.
